FOCUS Focus in photography is tied in with the word sharpness, it is simply highlighting a part of the image you want to stand out by using depth of field, to get a message or feelings across to your audience. An image that i every blurry, lacking depth of field is said to be out of focus as there is no set thing that your eyes need to concentrate on. This is very similar to our brains; When you concentrate, your mind is sharp. You are focused. When you’re confused, you lack focus. Sometimes you may want to keep your background out of focus as they could be cluttered and could distract the audience from the main part of the image. By keeping only one part of the image in focus that aspect of the image takes over the entire photo and can seem more superior than the other things within the photo.
